Caroline "Carrie" Marie Felts

Caroline M. “Carrie” Felts, age 49, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Elkhart on July 19, 2017.  Carrie was born Jan. 27, 1968 in Elkhart and attended Jimtown High School.  She was employed for many years as a beautician, and worked with many clients throughout the area at Cutting Loose Salon in Elkhart.

Carrie is survived by her children Kelli Sipress of Nappanee, Damon (Jessica) Collins of Elkhart, and Carina Robinson of Las Vegas.  Also surviving are 6 grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Kylie Rose, Damon, Layla, Mason, Carmine & Jaxson. Surviving as well are her siblings Brenda Jones, Peggy Freeze, Nancy Ebright, Sheila (James) Steinke, and Shirley (Kenny) Hayes, all of Elkhart and many nieces and nephews. Carrie was preceded in death by her father Lon E. Jones, her mother Betty Bragg, her step-father, Columbus E. Bragg , her brothers Lon, Robert and Glenn Jones, her sister Gayle Tyler and a nephew, Michael Steinke. 

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Monday, July 24, 2017 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Osceola.  Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, July 25 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service with interment to follow in Olive Cemetery.

Carrie enjoyed watching NASCAR, following Dale Jarrett and later Dale Earnhardt. Jr.  She was a very patriotic woman, and her love for the men and women serving in the US Marine Corps was proudly displayed throughout her home.  Carrie was also known by her family as a “prankster” and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
