Elmer B. Davenport Jr.

Elmer B. Davenport, 77, a co-resident of Elephant Butte, NM and Osceola, IN died on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Sierra Vista Hospital in Truth or Consequences, NM.

Elmer was born November 16, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Elmer and Doris Davenport. He was a retired Machinist & Maintenance Engineer. Elmer enjoyed working with his hands, creating new trinkets, especially felt pens, which he sold all over the country. 

Mr. Davenport is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judith Kay Davenport; children- Charlene (Steve) Bradburn of South Bend, IN; Machelle Davenport of Florence, KY; David Davenport of Osceola, IN; and Brian (Jenn) Davenport of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and his sister, Shirley Ann (Alan) Hatfield of Osceola, IN.
