Jeanne M. (Nolan) Kuzmicz

Jeanne M. Kuzmicz, age 62 of Mishawaka, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at her home.  Jeanne was born May 5, 1957 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to the late James and Eileen Nolan.  Jeanne graduated from Providence Catholic High School in 1975 and on October 28, 1978, she married Kenneth James Kuzmicz in New Lennox, Illinois. 

Kenneth survives, along with their children Ryan Kuzmicz and his wife Sarah Matthew Kuzmicz and his wife Amanda, all of Mishawaka, and Megan Jasin and her husband Adam of Osceola.  Also surviving are her grandchildren Nolan Jasin, Haley, Bailey, Parker and Gavin Kuzmicz.  Jeanne is survived as well by her siblings Terrence Nolan and his wife Kathleen, of New Lennox, Illinois, Marilyn Cieply and her husband Craig of Wilton Center, Illinois, and David Nolan of Downers Grove, Illinois.

Visitation will be held from 2-6 pm Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.  There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, Mishawaka on Monday, October 7, 2019

Jeanne was employed by Comcast as a customer service representative for many years, before leaving to work full time at Martin’s Supermarkets.  She spent over 20 years with Martin’s and will be remembered fondly as a loyal employee of Paw Mart. 

In her spare time, Jeanne enjoyed reading, visiting the casino, going to the movies and spoiling her German Shepherd, “Ruby.”  She was also a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish, Mishawaka.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family on vacation and supporting her grandchildren’s hobbies and interests.
