The service we’ll be having for Gene will not be the typical service...we had talked a lot about death since the day Sandy passed away years ago .. He didn’t want anyone crying for him .. but he was in a lot of pain and was ready to go .. We will be gathering at Jeff and my house (11023  Harrison Road, Osceola, IN 46561) so things can be more comfortable and less formal..( in other words if you wanna wear jeans and a t-shirt by all means feel free to do so) ..we will be saying our good-byes and remembering all the crazy s**t he did that would make people laugh and feel comfortable laughing .. that’s what type of farewell we will be having .. that’s what type of farewell he wanted.. We will have sandwiches and chips and drinks for everyone.. Please RSVP me if you are able to make it and how many adults/kids will be with you .. (we do have a dog so if you have allergies would be best to take your allergy pills ahead of time .. she is a German Shepherd and no matter how much we vacuum there is always hair around ) It will start at noon and continue till everyone has left--in other words there isn’t a time limit to show up or leave .. We will be having a Military Service at the graveside for Gene to be placed next to his beloved Sandy in April in Columbia City at Nolt Cemetery with the help of Cruz Family Funeral Home,VFW and the Patriot Guard Riders .. I will update everyone when we have that date set .

Thanks, Ann Jones
