Bonnie Jean Ringland, age 68 of Mishawaka, passed away surrounded by her family on December 17 ,2022, at the Center for Hospice, Raclin House. Bonnie was born April 22, 1954, in South Bend, Indiana. She was a graduate of Clay High School and later became a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons Jonathon Grove of South Bend and Joshua Grove of Michigan, along with her grandchildren Chelsee Gayer, Samantha Lewis, Rayne Hulitt, Anthony Klemczewski, Justin Grove, Ashlyn Grove, Caitlin Grove, Desirae Grove, Harleigh Grove and Lillian Grove. Surviving as well are her great grandchildren Arieah Miles and Kolcen Williams. Her daughter, Christina Lennon and her parents Robert and Jena B. Ringland preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 12-3 pm Monday, December 26, 2022, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola with her funeral to follow at 3pm. Following the funeral, a wake will be held at Celebrations Palace- 410 Laurel St. Mishawaka, from 5:30-8:30pm.
Bonnie enjoyed watching soap operas, a good French Vanilla Cappuccino, and taking trips to Sonic for their famous ice.
Most of all, Bonnie loved her family and was loved by everyone she met. She gave warm hugs and shared a laugh with her family and friends, and everyone who had the privilege of meeting her referred to her not as Bonnie, but as “Nana.”
