Bradley Jay Dennis, age 78, of South Bend, passed away on September 22, 2025. Brad was born March 3, 1947, in Rockford, Illinois, to the late J.B. and Helen Dennis. He was a proud graduate of Indiana University. On September 6, 1969, Brad married Susan Rebecca “Becky” Fish, and together they recently celebrated 56 years of marriage.
Brad was employed for over 32 years as a Division Manager with Ziolkowski Construction, where he led one of the largest masonry restoration divisions in the State of Indiana and later retired at the age of 77. Throughout his time, he achieved numerous awards in the state and even in Alabama and New York. He was proud of his role in many projects at the University of Notre Dame and left a lasting impact on the community. A dedicated worker and devoted provider, Brad was a proud member of MACAIF and the St. Joseph Valley Bricklayer's Association.
He enjoyed camping with his family and was known for making big breakfasts on those trips. He and Becky loved traveling with their children and created many family memories together. In his free time, Brad also enjoyed watching Notre Dame football and Indiana University basketball. He was also an avid Rock N’ Roll lover, especially the Beach Boys.
He loved watching his grandkids play sports, cheering them on with pride and joy. His greatest legacy is the family he built: strong, close, and full of love just like him. Surviving is his wife, Becky; their children, Chris (Theresa) Dennis, Jeff (Rachel) Dennis, Katy (Jeff) Troester, and Brittany (Matt) Lawton; 10 grandchildren, Myah, Keaton, Trace, Rowan, Cullen, Rylie, Beckham, Hadley, Mila, and Kallie; and his sister, Suzie Bass.
A private celebration of Brad’s life will be held at a later date. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola has been entrusted with his care.
