Carolyn Ann Moser, age 84, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Saint Anne Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born January 18, 1942, to Jerome and Blanche (Cornell) Keller, Carolyn was a lifelong resident of the South Bend/Fort Wayne area and a graduate of Central Catholic High School. Her final years were spent at St. Anne’s making wonderful friends and brightening up the room with her beautiful lipsticked smile and warm personality; especially when her instructions were followed to the T regarding her care.

On May 19, 1962, she married Ronald Moser at St. Jude Catholic Church. Together, they shared 49 years of happy marriage until his passing in 2011. Together they were active in the Catholic Church participating in Marriage Encounter and they studied together for Ron’s Diaconate Program. As a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka, she sang in the choir and was active in teen ministry. Following her husband’s passing, she served on the Diaconate Board for the FWSB diocese. She was a woman of deep faith, thankful for the opportunity to attend daily Mass at St. Anne’s and then enjoy a cookie afterwards.

Carolyn served as an administrative assistant at Lincoln Life and Harvester before her most important job of mothering 3 daughters. She was a Girl Scout leader. She and Ron sold Amway. Later, she worked at Jefferson Middle School and then Fort Wayne Snider High School in the athletic department. After relocating to South Bend she served as an administrative assistant at the University of Notre Dame’s Career Placement Department.

Carolyn was known for her kindness, her welcoming spirit, her devotion to her family, her meticulousness, love of sweets, her lipstick and her beautiful skin. She enjoyed game shows, conversations, and playing cards and BINGO. She had a passion for reading and thankfully many friends that helped her stay satisfied by bringing books to her. She was happiest at family gatherings and was tickled at the antics of her great grandchildren. She always had something to give them when they visited. She loved to shop and was generous with her gifts.

She is survived by her three daughters: Michele (Jaime) Grayson, Cynthia (Joseph) Collis, and Lori (Russell) Fuson; Grandchildren Rachel (Wayne) Sams, Jaime (Jimena Flores) Grayson II, Taylor Grayson, Samuel (Angelynne) Truebedoor, Emma (Quinn) O’Heeney, Benjamin (fiancé, Lauren Tinkham), Grace Collis, Mary Collis, and Leo Collis, along with 8 great grandchildren, Selah, Levi, Lola, Theo, Evie, Jordan, Finn, Jaime, and a great grandchild due in August of 2026. Surviving as well is her sister Marilyn (Steve) Parrot of Angola, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Ronald Moser, and her brother, Jerome Keller.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola, with the Rosary recited at 6:30 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 am Thursday, May 14, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka, with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
