Chris Wells

Christopher “Chris” Wells, 50, of Mishawaka unexpectedly died at his home on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was born in Ft. Campbell, Ky on July 20, 1975, to Steven and Kathleen “Kathy” (Barnes) Wells, both of whom survive.

Along with his parents, Chris’s children, Tim and Eva Wells, both of Mishawaka, and a sister Emily Wells of New Castle, CO, remember him fondly.

Chris was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent his career as a lineman for AT&T. He took pride in his work and instilled that same determination and strong work ethic in his children. Chris deeply loved his family and cherished the time they spent together, often sharing laughs and stories. He showed his care by simply being present and through acts of service, always willing to help those around him. Outside of work, Chris was the family’s “grill master” and loved bringing people together for cookouts and gatherings filled with good food, laughter, and time with those he loved most. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place with a time to remember Chris scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5-7pm with a brief blessing at 7pm. An informal “cook out” to celebrate Chris’s life is being planned for Saturday, July 18, 2026, with more details to be announced later.
