Christopher “Chris” D. Levenhagen, 22, was born in Lebanon, TN, to Robert Levenhagen and April Lewis, who both survive.

Chris was truly one of a kind. As the first grandson, he held a special place in the family from the very beginning. If you knew Chris, you knew he could be completely random and say the most unexpected things. He had a way of changing the mood in a room without even trying, and you never quite knew what he was going to say next. He got his sarcasm from his mom and his sense of humor from his dad, but he made both his own. There was only one Chris, and anyone who knew him knows he will never be replaced.

Chris and his dad shared a special bond that was uniquely theirs; from the memories they made to the moments only they would understand, their relationship was something special that his dad will carry with him always. The connection with his mom was just as special. No matter what life brought their way, Chris was her boy, and he will always hold a place in her heart that no one else could ever fill. His mom and dad both called him “Kid,” a name that carried so much love and will forever be part of the memories they hold close.

Chris loved his family and friends, and his friendships were an important part of his life. Together, they shared crazy adventures, plenty of laughs, and stories that will be remembered for years to come. The loyalty they shared and the memories they made will remain a lasting part of his story.

Chris leaves behind a lifetime of memories in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be missed in the everyday moments, the unexpected jokes, and the endless laughter.

Along with his parents, Chris is survived by his grandmother’s, Diana Lewis and Brenda Martin; Aunts and Uncles William “Billy” (Melissa Jackson) Levenhagen, and Angela (David) Maguire, and his close life-long friends, Brayden, Wyatt, and Juan. Chris was preceded in death by his grandfathers Jeffrey Lewis, Bill Levenhagen, and Bob Martin.

Cremation has taken place with a private family gathering to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Ronald McDonald House in honor of Chris.
