Cynthia A. Clark-Silberman, 82, of Elkhart peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 3, 2026, with family by her side. She was born on March 10, 1943, to the late John and Edythe (Bryant) Scott and married James Clark, who died in 2003, and later married Harold Silberman, who preceded her in 2013.

Surviving are her three children, Elizabeth (Doug) Griffin of Elkhart, Patricia Lynne Clark of Croton on Hudson, NY, and Jamie (Windy Clarice) Clark of Kalamazoo, MI. Nine grandchildren, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, and Max Griffin, Charlie Clarics, Bowie, Remy, and Louie Clark, and Alexander and Olivia Loeb survive, along with three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Savannah, and Stevie. Along with her parents and late husbands, Cynthia was preceded in death by a sister, Lynne Kelley; her son, Christopher (Lora) Jewell of VA survive.

Cynthia was a proud homemaker who took joy in keeping a beautiful, welcoming home. No matter the situation, she carried a positive attitude, along with a smile and laugh that were truly contagious. She valued her family and lifelong friendships deeply and was known for being selfless and kind. She had a well-known sweet tooth and firmly believed that “ice cream belongs in every meal.” In her younger years, she loved playing tennis and traveling, making unforgettable memories along the way including a Caribbean cruise, an Italian vacation with her children and a visit to the Great Wall of China with her husband, Harold. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Cremation has taken place with a private family burial later in Middletown, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Center for Hospice Care or Alzheimer’s Association.
