Cynthia Lynn (McCarty) Presnell, age 66 of Lakeville, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on the morning of March 20, 2024. Cyndi was born July 9, 1957, in Charleston, West Virginia. On February 22, 2002, she married Brian Presnell.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Brian Presnell of Lakeville, her children, William “Billy” C. Quimby of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Willie (Chasity) Christian of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Robert L Quimby and Miss Stormy L Presnell, 25 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, her mother Barbara E. (Cooper) Marley of Mishawaka, and her siblings, Mrs. Michael (Virginia) Werner, Mr. John (& Dawn) McCarty III, Mrs. Larry (Rita) Reed, and Mrs. Stephen (Edie) Walker. Cyndi was preceded in death by her father John H McCarty II, her son, Mr. Jonathan W Quimby, and her brother, Mr. David E. (Laura Schaffert) McCarty.
There will be a Celebration of Cyndi’s life at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Lakeside Baptist Church, 515 Michigan Trail, Lakeville, IN 46536. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola, Indiana has been entrusted with her care.
Cyndi was employed for most of her career in the Quality Control Department at Elixer Industries and later with Faurecia of Granger. In her spare time, she spent countless weekends fishing and camping with her family. Whether casting her line into the lake or roasting marshmallows by the fire, Cyndi's laughter and sense of humor was unmatched. She could often be found at the Casino, playing slots and enjoying time with her husband Brian.
Cyndi's love knew no bounds, and she poured her heart and soul into creating cherished memories with her husband and children. Her family was always at the center of her world. Her love, her laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
