Deanne Base

Deanne Base, age 73 of Osceola, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026. Deanne was born June 23, 1952 in Goshen, Indiana to the late Dean and Dorothy (Tom) Cripe. She was employed in the Elkhart area for many years making wire harnesses for RV’s and also owned her own private cleaning company for several years. On May 1, 1993, she married Steven Base. He preceded her in death in February of 2026.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Rueda, and 2 grandsons, Braden and Isaac Rueda, along with her sister, Donita (Bob) Slack. She was preceded in death by her sister Denise Lloyd.

There will be a celebration of Deanne’s life at a later date. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola has been entrusted with her care.

In her spare time, Deanne enjoyed drawing and working in her beautiful flower gardens. She also enjoyed watching and playing along with numerous game shows on the Game Show Network. Her family always came first, and she loved spending time with them.
