Deborah Jewel Heeter (Perry), age 65, passed away peacefully at hospice house on June 25, 2025, in Mishawaka, Indiana. Born on June 24, 1959, in Washington, Indiana, Deborah lived a life marked by resilience, deep love, and unwavering strength.
She worked many jobs including Meijer Bakery, Amerisource, Greyhound, and Creation Windows.
Throughout her journey, Deborah touched the lives of many with her generous spirit and fierce devotion to those she held dear. She was a beautiful soul who loved with all of her heart—leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Known for her courage and determination, she faced life’s challenges head-on and outlived many prognoses with grace and grit. Her legacy is one of compassion, perseverance, and boundless love.
Deborah was a devoted mother to her children: Todd Alan Heeter, Timothy Lee Heeter, Terry Joseph Heeter, and Tanya Jewel Heeter. She also cherished her role as grandmother to Taylor Jewel Price, Orion Tiberius Clements, and Sebastian Riker Clements. Her family was the center of her world, and she fought hard for those she loved.
She now joins in rest her beloved husband Randy Lee Heeter; her son Timothy Lee Heeter; her parents Maxine Horn Perry and Dennis Perry Sr.; her brothers Dennis Perry Jr. and Roy Perry; and her sisters Paula Perry Decook Greene and Pamela Perry Cabanaw. Also preceding her in death were father-in-law Robert Heeter Sr., mother-in-law Bonnie Frick Heeter, brother-in-law Robert Heeter Jr., and sister-in-law Connie Heeter Villwock.
A celebration of Deborah’s life will be planned at a later date so that friends and family may gather to honor the remarkable woman she was.
Deborah will be remembered as the good in the world—a fighter whose love knew no bounds. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
