Jacqueline “Jackie” Sue Hollis, 61, of Osceola bravely fought until her passing on Sunday, July 20, 2025. She was born in Hammond on June 30, 1964, to the late Ronald and Patricia (Pulowski) Wilson, and later married David Hollis, who was by her side until the end.
David survives along with Jackie’s mother, Patricia, and siblings, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Wilson, and Jennifer Wilson, both of Crown Point, and Joy Wilson of Hammond. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Jackie loved being outdoors, especially if it meant being near the water; fishing, swimming, or boating were some of her favorite memories. At home, she found peace in her garden and joy in the company of her beloved animals. In her downtime, Jackie liked to unwind with reality or true crime shows, treat herself to Red Lobster, and grabbing an ice cream or snow cone just for fun. But more than anything, she loved her family and friends and building memories that will last.
Cremation has taken place with a time to remember and celebrate a beautiful life scheduled for Monday, July 28, 2025 from 1-3p with a brief service at 3pm at Cruz Family Funeral Home, Osceola.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Cruz Family Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses. To light a virtual candle, share a story of Jackie’s life, or extend a message of comfort to her family, please visit the Guestbook.
