Jeffrey Alan Willingham, age 68, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mishawaka on September 29, 2025. Jeff was born June 12, 1957, in South Bend, Indiana. He was a graduate of Mishawaka High School, class of 1975, and later worked for over 40 years as a truck driver for Kuert Concrete and later retired from Holland Trucking.
In his younger years, Jeff played baseball and was part of a league for many seasons. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing racquetball and cheering for the Bears, Colts, Cubs, and Notre Dame. He especially enjoyed spending time at home after being on the road for work and loved fishing with his sons along the St. Joseph River.
He is survived by his sons, Corey Willingham of Mishawaka and Kurtis Willingham of New Orleans, Louisiana. Surviving as well are his siblings, Marcia Zentz of Osceola, Jerry Willingham of Smithfield, North Carolina, and Steve Eberlein of Navarre, Florida. Also surviving are his nephews, Jeremy (Jackie) Willingham, Christopher (Heather) Willingham, Dennis (Tracy) Pierce Jr., and Craig (Amanda) Pierce, along with several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Willingham, and his mother, Donna Durbin Eberlein, along with his brother-in-law, Craig Zentz.
There will be no services for Jeff. The family asks that you remember him through your memories and acts of kindness. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service has been entrusted with his care.
