Jill S. Annis

Jill Suzanne (Donathen) Annis, 59, of South Bend, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jill was born on December 4, 1965, in South Bend to Tim Donathen and Mary (Imbro) Ransbottom. Jill married Charles Annis on May 22, 1993. They shared many great memories together during their 32 years of marriage.

Jill loved being a mother and grandmother more than anything. She would say that her greatest accomplishment was raising her amazing children. Her selflessness for her children and husband was visible to the very end.

Remaining to cherish Jill’s memory are her husband, Charles Annis; children, Heather Valentiny, Terry (Sierra) Wilkinson, Courtney Annis, Jordan (Elaine) Annis, and Cassidy (Clarence) Williams; grandchildren, Nathan, Alex, Mia, DJ, Jaxxon, Asher, Brooks; great-grandchild, Lilyana; brother, Brian (Carolyn) Donathen; sisters, Michele (Steve) Klasen and Melissa Nate. Preceding Jill in death are daughter, Rochelle Wilkinson; parents, Tim Donathen and Mary (Imbro) Ransbottom; and brother, Jeff Donathen.

A church service to celebrate Jill’s life will be held at Community Gospel Church in Bremen, IN on Tuesday, May 27 at 10:30am. A visitation with the family will be held for an hour prior to the service.

Memorial donations in Jill’s memory may be made to Ernestine M. Raclin House Center for Hospice Care. A heartfelt thanks to the center’s staff for their compassion and care during her final days.
