Kevin Glen Beckham, age 54, of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly on October 28, 2026. Kevin was born on March 14, 1972, in Mishawaka, Indiana. He graduated from Penn High School in 1990, where he participated in the building trades program.
Kevin is survived by his children, Austin (Yasmeen) Beckham, Alec (Clare) Beckham, and Cheyenne O’Keefe; his mothers, Darlene Kline Whittington and Sheryl Beckham; and his grandchildren, Oliver, Veah, and Lincoln, along with a fourth grandchild he was eagerly anticipating the arrival of in May 2027. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Emma Tessely, and the mother of his children, Tiffiney Sweezey; his siblings, Tony (Sherri) Gaugler, Jim (Brenda) Gaugler, Todd (Chad Dee) Gaugler, and Tara (Bill) Beckham Goble; and many nieces and nephews, including Lindsay (Jason) Gour, Grace Denney, Cole (Nicole) Gaugler, Kaley Beckham, and Gavin Goble. He is also survived by his great-niece and great-nephew, Jacob and Coco Gour. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Beckham, and his brother, Troy Gaugler.
A time to gather and honor Kevin’s life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.
Kevin was the former owner of Beckham Carpentry and spent several years working at Elkhart Hinge Co. Most recently, he worked as a maintenance supervisor at Townhouse East of Mishawaka.
Kevin enjoyed riding his Harley to bike events, had a passion for classic muscle cars, and spending time on the golf course. He and his dad, Bob, shared a love of racing and enjoyed attending events at local tracks and NASCAR races. Kevin was a skilled craftsman who loved building things, and he recently put that talent to work creating a backyard oasis at his home. He also loved being outdoors, caring for animals, and cooking for family and friends, especially when it came to grilling meats.
Kevin was always the life of the party. Loud, outgoing, and silly, he had a big laugh and a personality that made him hard to miss. He was personable, enjoyed making people laugh, and always tried to be a good friend to those who needed one. Kevin was proud of his skills in the building trades and passed that knowledge down to his sons, sharing with them something he loved and knew well. More than anything, Kevin will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, his willingness to help others, and the time he spent doing what he loved with the people who mattered most to him.
