Linda A. Bruhn, 66, of Elkhart entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Hammond, IN on May 25, 1959, to the late Walter and Dolores (Kosinski) Wojtena.
She is survived by two sons, Kurtis (Gabrielle) Bruhn and Mitchell (Paige) Bruhn; grandchildren, Everett, Leilynn, Wyatt, Claire, Emma, and Levi; sisters, Susan (Jack) Gabor, Maria Vass and nieces and nephew Camryn, Logan, and Delaney.
Linda worked faithfully as a cashier at Menard’s for many years. She was known for her warm presence and simple kindness. As a devoted Catholic, she attended mass regularly at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Linda’s faith remained an important part of her life. Outside of work, she found joy in the quieter moments at home, especially tending to her garden caring for vegetables, flowers and plants she loved. Above all, Linda treasured time spent with her family and those closest to her, valuing the conversations, laughter, and everyday moments shared together.
A service to remember and honor her life is scheduled for Friday March 20, 2026 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Located at 52553 N Fir Rd, Granger, IN 46530. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. EST, Mass to immediately follow in the church. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
