Lisa Michelle Thurmand

Lisa Michelle Thurmand, age 48, of Goshen, passed away on March 17, 2026. Lisa was born May 31, 1977, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Fred and Rebecca (Davenport) Stein. She was a graduate of Memorial High School. On November 8, 2005, she married Tyrone Thurmand. Together, Lisa and Tyrone built a life of love, laughter, and friendship.

She was employed by MSC for 20 years and then left to become a devoted homemaker, finding her greatest joy in caring for her family and spending time together with them. She enjoyed reading, especially novels by Freida McFadden, crocheting, window shopping at local stores, and traveling to explore new places with those she loved the most. Lisa also loved spending time outdoors and adored her dogs, Peaches, Apollo, and King, who she spoiled daily.

She is survived by her husband of over 20 years, Tyrone Thurmand of Goshen; their children, Danika Thurmand of Bloomington, Indiana, Breana Thurmand and Tyrece Thurmand, both of Goshen, and Kyran Thurmand of Scottsdale, Arizona; her father, Fred Stein; her brother, Todd (Jen) Stein; and her nephew, Brandon Stein, all of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca “Becky” Stein.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola, with funeral services to follow at 4 pm.
