Marvin was a proud US Army veteran and an avid motorcycle enthusiast who loved taking his grandkids on thrilling rides. With a heart as big as his spirit, he never met a stranger and always extended a warm welcome to everyone he encountered. He was an active participant in local softball and bowling leagues and had a deep sense of patriotism in every aspect of his life.

According to Marvin’s wishes cremation has taken place. A time to visit with family and honor his life is scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm, with a service at 1pm at Cruz Family Funeral Home, Osceola. A private family burial will take place later at Olive Cemetery. Following the service, there will be a potluck dinner at the American Legion in Osceola, where everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to share.
