Michael Patrick Jojo, 57, of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2026.

Mike was born on March 17, 1968, in South Bend, Indiana, and graduated from Adams High School. He had worked at Thermo Bond for many years and was known for his hard work and dedication.

Outside of work, Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and watching football. He loved his Pittsburgh Steelers, Notre Dame, and all the Boston sports teams. Mike also had a soft spot for cats and dogs and leaves behind his beloved cat, Morris, who was his loyal companion.

Mike is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his mother, Sharon Jojo; his father, Allie (Joe) Jojo and Sue Jojo; his brothers, Anthony (Lisa) Jojo, Bobby Sheneman, and Kevin (Paige) Toth; and his sisters, Tammy Rainbolt, Sharon Tipton, and Christine (Steve) Edwards. He also leaves behind his lifelong friends Steve Walker, Joe Feingold, Ray Rozniarek, and Jeff Reece, who he grew up with and who were like brothers to him. Mike is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jessie and Collin Burns, and his paternal grandparents, Allie and Elaine Jojo.

A private service will be held for family. Cruz Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with Mike’s arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pet Refuge in Mike’s memory.
