Peggy Sue (Bradley) Pierce, 63, of Osceola, bravely fought a two-year battle with esophageal cancer, and passed on Sunday, May 26. She was born in Mishawaka to the late LaVerren “Jack” and Esther Bradley on November 27, 1961, and later married her high school sweetheart John “Bill” Pierce on September 26, 1981.

Bill survives along with their children, Brittany (Pascal) Morency of Meridian, ID and Taylor (Matt) Landis of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, Ella, Jack, Trey, and Remy and siblings, Fred (Cheri) Bradley of Wakarusa and Ted (Darlene) Bradley of Mishawaka also survive. Along with Peggy’s parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Bradley.

Peggy was a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, a loving mother, doting grandmother, and a cherished sister and aunt. Her family was her greatest pride, and nothing brought her more joy than gathering them around the table for a home-cooked meal or throwing a party that made every occasion feel special. Famous for her bargain-hunting skills and coupon-clipping prowess, Peggy could spot a good deal from a mile away, earning her the nickname “coupon queen.” For 28 years, she worked as a graphic designer at Homes and Lifestyle Magazine, where she formed several lifelong friendships. In her later years, she found joy in the food industry, sharing her warmth with everyone she met at Chick-fil-A and Martin’s Super Market. Peggy had a way of making people feel seen and appreciated.

Peggy wished to celebrate her life alongside her friends and family prior to her passing. She hosted an event at Grace Bible Church earlier this month where she rejoiced in the company of those she loved. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private celebration of life for the immediate family will occur at a later date.
