Randy Williams

Randy Williams, age 70 of Elkhart, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Randy was born November 30, 1955, in Elkhart Indiana. Following High School, Randy studied to become a mechanic and worked for many years in the industry, retiring in 2021 from Hull Lift Trucks in Elkhart. On June 12, 1994, he married the love of his life, Yvonne McKinney in Osceola. Together, they shared over 32 years of love, laughter, and marriage.

Yvonne survives, along with Randy’s daughter, Crystal Williams, his step sons, Bobby Siefert and C.J. Siefert, four grandchildren; Sierra Williams, Thalia Williams, Ashton Robert Siefert and Drake Brendon Siefert as well as 3 great grandchildren; Christopher, Cyle, and Crystin. Randy was preceded in death by his father Harce Williams and his mother, Betty J. (Holloway) Merrill, along with several uncles he cared for deeply.

As a mechanic, Randy loved racing and enjoyed watching both Dale and Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the NASCAR circuit. He could also be found in the stands at local tracks such as New Paris Speedway on a Saturday night, or the Kalamazoo Motor Speedway. Randy also loved being outdoors and camping in his motor home at several Elkhart area campgrounds. He also loved animals, especially his dogs Ladybug, Duke and his Yorkies.

He was a man of great faith and trusted the Lord. Randy attended That Church on the Rise in Elkhart for many years where he sang in the choir, helped the security team on Sundays, and helped to maintain the Church property by landscaping and plowing snow whenever called upon.

He was everyone’s “go to” guy and never hesitated to help anyone in need. Randy knew no strangers and his upbeat and fun personality made him easy to talk to. Most of all, he loved his family and dedicated several years to caring for his mother in his home in Elkhart.

Vistation will be held 2 hours prior to the 2:00 pm funeral service on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola with Pastor Justin Moore officiating.
