Rian L. Cole

Rian L. Cole, age 57, of Mishawaka, passed away peacefully at the Center for Hospice, Raclin House on May 12, 2026. He was born on November 17, 1968 in South Bend to the late Raymond and Geraldine (Harrington) Cole.

Rian is survived by his daughters, Kayla (Keith) and Trisha (Michael), along with his beloved grandchildren: Alex, Ellie, Chase, Clayton, Michael, Finley, Sydnie, Briar, Lynlee, and Bexley. He is also survived by his siblings, Cathy Hann (Tim), Raymond Cole, and Kimberly Cole (Steve). He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Rian, and by his sisters, Karen McCray and Renee Cole.

Rian most recently worked for Wells Cargo and was known as someone who could fix just about anything. Whether it was working on cars, repairing homes, or helping others with projects, he was always willing to lend a hand. He loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing, and had a deep appreciation for music of all kinds.

More than anything, Rian loved being around people. He had a fun-loving spirit and especially enjoyed spending time with children, particularly his grandchildren and nieces and nephews, who brought him tremendous joy. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his willingness to help others, and the bright blue eyes that so many people complimented throughout his life.

A celebration of Rian’s life will be held at a later time. Cruz Family Funeral Home of Osceola has been entrusted with his care.
