Russ and Karel owned and operated their own Karaoke business for over 20 years, entertaining at numerous bars and clubs throughout Michiana. His charismatic presence and love for music made him an excellent DJ, leaving lasting memories in the hearts of all who attended his shows. He was a man of simple pleasures who enjoyed the company of loved ones and friends, often accompanied by a cold Miller Genuine Draft beer, a beverage that became synonymous with the shared laughter and camaraderie he so cherished.

Russ had a passion for cars that spanned both classic and modern models. He was also passionate about football, particularly the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and in his younger years, he loved to play pool and shoot darts with family and friends, building bonds and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Russ also found joy in spending time outdoors, whether it was mowing the lawn or simply enjoying the beauty of his backyard. His dog, Barney, was not just a pet but a lifelong best friend and loyal companion, reflecting the deep bond between man and “man’s best friend.”
