Scott Lau, 50, of South Bend, Indiana passed away August 7, 2026 at Memorial Hospital.

He was born to Susan Krawczyk (VanLue) and Paul Lau I on January 2, 1976. He graduated from Lasalle High School. While he held a variety of jobs throughout his life, his passion as a truck driver always remained. Scott could always be seen wearing his favorite Packers hat and, even through their continuous losses, remained an avid Packers fan.

Scott leaves behind his wife, Heather Lau (MacLeod), his children: Krystina Lau (Nicholas), Alexis Lau, Ashleigh MacLeod, Katie Selis, Haylee Selis, William Selis, Paige Lau, and Mason Lau; his mother, Susan Krawczyk, brother, Paul Lau Jr. sister, Julie Meisner, stepsister, Heather Pollard (John), stepbrother, Richard Krawczyk Jr. and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Lau Sr, his stepfather, Richard Krawczyk Sr, his stepsister, Aaron Krawczyk, and his daughter, Jennifer Lau.

Despite the struggles he faced in his adult life, Scott’s final wish was to become an organ donor. This selfless decision speaks volumes about the kind of person he was, showing that even in his final wishes, he wanted to help others and give someone else the opportunity at a second chance. His willingness to give of himself after death reflects his deep sense of generosity and is a lasting testament to his character.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that any donations be made to the Indiana Donor Network, as Scott would have wanted.
