Sheron F. Snyder, 70, of Osceola, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at her home with family by her side. She was born on November 14, 1954, in South Bend to the late Eldon L. and Dorothy (Hoover) Silvers. Later she met and married David Snyder, who preceded her in death.
Their son, Kaine M. (Pam) Thompson of Granger survives, along with her grandsons, Gavin Michael Thompson, and Lukas Charles Allen Thompson, and two sisters, Sandra Kaser of Bristol and Susan Silvers of South Bend. Sheron was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Harry “Butch” Zeigler, Richard “Dick” Zeigler and David “Jim” Zeigler, and sisters, Carolyn Ellis and Barbara Knepper.
Sheron was a beloved mother and grandmother with a generous and selfless spirit. A talented scrapbooker, she loved creating handmade greeting cards and donated many of them to soldiers and veterans as a gesture of gratitude and patriotism. She had a deep love for her four-legged children and a lifelong admiration for Joe Montana, cheering him on from his days at Notre Dame through his career in San Francisco. She was known for her knack for finding treasures at Goodwill and local garage sales, and cherished time spent at the family’s lake cottage on Mud Lake in Middlebury. But most importantly, she found joy in celebrating special moments and holidays, especially Christmas, surrounded by those she loved most. She will be greatly missed.
