Andrew J. Basse, age 41 of Elkhart passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 19, 2020.  Andy was born November 1, 1979 in South Bend, Indiana to Terry L. and Susan E. (Edwards) Basse.

Surviving is his daughter Wendi Basse of Brea, California, his mother Susan Basse of Elkhart, and his brothers Nick (Bobbi) Basse of Mishawaka and Alex (Sara Shaw) Basse of Elkhart.  His grandmother Peggy Basse of Elkhart survives, along with his nephews Tristan and Lincoln Basse...

Andrew J. Basse, age 41 of Elkhart passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 19, 2020.  Andy was born November 1, 1979 in South Bend, Indiana to Terry L. and Susan E. (Edwards) Basse.

Surviving is his daughter Wendi Basse of Brea, California, his mother Susan Basse of Elkhart, and his brothers Nick (Bobbi) Basse of Mishawaka and Alex (Sara Shaw) Basse of Elkhart.  His grandmother Peggy Basse of Elkhart survives, along with his nephews Tristan and Lincoln Basse and several aunts and uncles.  Preceding him in death was his father Terry Lee Basse and his grandparents Ferman Basse and James and Dorothy Edwards.

There will be no services for Andy at this time.  Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola is assisting with his arrangements.

Andy was self employed as a plumber for many years and was a creative thinker.  Anything that needed built, he could “MacGyver” into a working product. Spending time at the casino was also one of Andy’s favorite hobbies.   He had an outstanding sense of humor which will be greatly missed. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his nephews.
