Ashley Nichole Stevens

Ashley Nichole Stevens, age 31 of Mishawaka, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.  Ashley was born October 4, 1991, in South Bend, Indiana. 

She is survived by her parents Robert and Ruby (Pyburn) Stevens, her children, Brandon Taylor Jr., Kaiden Stevens, Izaiah Stevens and Arthur Sanderson Jr., as well as her longtime companion Daniel Newman.  Surviving as well are her sisters Jessica Stevens, Katlin Tingle and Bobby Jo Stevens, her uncles Allen (Corin) Pyburn, Roger Pyburn, Larry Joe (Jaime) Pyburn and Michael (Sam) Pyburn and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola with funeral service to follow immediately after visitation at 1pm.  Ashley will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.  Cruz Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.

Ashley was primarily a homemaker throughout her life.  She loved listening to all genres of music from old country to new pop.  Often, she and her sisters would just spend time together driving around the area listening to music with no particular destination in mind.  She also loved getting dressed up to go out for dinners and shopping for unique clothing at the local Thrift Stores. 

Ashely lived life with no regrets and was willing to help anyone in need.  Her big, beautiful smile, wonderful sense of humor, generosity and kindness toward others and the love she shared with her family will all be greatly missed by those who knew her.
