Barbara Ann (WInsett) LaMarche

Barbara Ann LaMarche, age 73 of Mishawaka, passed away at home surrounded by her family on the morning of January 7, 2021.  Barbara was born January 1, 1948 in Florence, Alabama to the late Billy and Margaret (Weems) Winsett.  On November 19, 1976, she married Owen LaMarche in Killen, Alabama.  They recently celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Owen survives, along with their children Bobby (Valerie) Butler of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Billy Butler of Mishawaka, Michael Butler of Iuka, Mississippi, Desiree (fiancée Eric Andresen) Brockie of Mishawaka, and Katlyn (Gonzalo) Ortiz of South Bend.  Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; Kayla, Rachel, Bobby III, Shiann, Lakota, Kasi, Kiona, Cole, Hannah, Logan, Hayden, Maxwell and Brooke-Lynn, and several great grandchildren.  Surviving as well are her siblings Billy Winsett of Memphis, Tennessee, Chris (Terri) Winsett of Mishawaka, and Wanda Berry of South Bend.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Oscar Fielder and Linda Alexander, who was her best friend for life.  

There will be no formal services for Barbara.  The LaMarche family asks that you remember her in your own way.

Barbara was a homemaker and she loved spending time with her family.  She loved to travel and was able to go to Hawaii with her sister Linda several years ago.  She also loved to shop!  Barbara loved doing her hair and make-up and often watched tutorials online to improve her makeup skills.  She was fond of animals and loved listening t0 classic country music and Christian music. 

The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Heart-to-Heart Hospice, especially Margaret, for their care and concern for Barbara during her time of need.
