Brenda Lou (Piechocki) Jamison

Brenda Lou Jamison, age 64 of South Bend, passed away at Memorial Hospital on August 18, 2021.  She was born June 28, 1957 in South Bend to the late Robert and Virginia (Henry) Piechocki.  Brenda was employed for many years in the cafeteria with the South Bend School Corporation before her retirement.

She is survived by her children Jessica (Mill) Miltenberger of South Bend, Melissa Bennett of South Bend, and Kevin (Megan) Brown of Divide, Colorado, her grandchildren Dakota, Nathaniel, Destinee, Dominick, Payton and Remington.  Surviving as well are her siblings Bobby Piechocki of South Bend and Shawn (Tawny) Piechocli of Biloxi, Mississippi and her favorite dog “Gooch.”

There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.  Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting with the arrangements.

Brenda loved life and found enjoyment in the simple things like collecting different things, watching John Wayne movies, drawing and smoking cigarettes.  She was also a unique character who took delight in “driving her friends crazy” to show them she cared deeply for them.
