Frank J. Sniadecki Jr.

Frank J. Sniadecki Jr., age 70 of North Liberty, Indiana died of a broken heart on January 29, 2021.  In 1990, Frank married Charlotte (Murnane) Strock and they celebrated 30 years of marriage before her death in February of 2020.  Frank was never the same after losing the love of his life and longed to be by her side in Heaven.    

Frank was born August 31, 1950 in South Bend, Indiana to Frank J and Blanche (Przybylski) Sniadecki.  He was a graduate of LaSalle High School and later joined the US Army Reserves during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his mother Blanche Sniadecki of South Bend and his children Cindy (Kevin) Newton of Michigan, Linda Furlong of Mishawaka, and John (Megan) Murnane IV of Lakeville.  Surviving as well are his siblings Carol (Bob) McDonnell of St. Petersburg, FL, Tom (Jeanie) Sniadecki of South Bend, and Judy (Scott Barner) Powell of Elkhart, his grandchildren Emery Forkner, Eastynn Erdelyi, and Codie and Amber Furlong and several nieces and nephews. 

Following Frank’s wishes, there will be no formal services.  The Sniadecki family asks that you celebrate Frank and Charlotte’s grand reunion in your own way. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola has been entrusted with his arrangements.

Frank was employed as a journeyman maintenance worker for many years with Whirlpool and later retired in 2015 from Polygon in Walkerton.  In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his garden, watching and feeding the birds and squirrels in his yard, and brewing his own homemade beer.  In his younger days, he loved riding his Harley and the freedom of the open roads.

As Frank got older, he was unable to care for his pets, so Dogtown Resort, a no-kill shelter helped by taking them in.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in his memory to Dogtown Resort, 11925 Co Rd 10, Middlebury, IN 46540.
