German Bautista-Polanco Sr.

German Bautista-Polanco Sr., 52, passed Wednesday August 9, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital. German was born on May 28, 1971, to Jorge Bautista Santos and Florentina Polanco Coria.

Surviving are his children Juan, Jorge, Laura, and German Jr. One grandson, Gabriel. He has 2 sisters.

German was very fond of Latin music, especially Cumbia. He loved spending time dancing and watching boxing. He was known to family and friends as the “Ribeye Guy”, as he loved to cook steaks. A big part of life was his love for soccer. German loved everything about soccer and shared with anyone he came in contact with. He had a special love for his family, friends, and the family dog Rico, who will miss him dearly.   

Visitation will be from 10 am – 12pm on Tuesday August 22, 2023, at St. Vincent de Paul Church 1108 S Main St Elkhart, Indiana 46516. A funeral mass will follow at 12:00 pm, at St. Vincent de Paul Church 1108 S Main St Elkhart, Indiana 46516
