Forever Isn't Always.........    Remembering the life of Jessie Morgan Jr., beloved: Son, Brother, Father, Husband, Friend.

Jessie Morgan Jr. passed away August 24, 2021, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka following an unexpected illness.  Jessie was born December 15, 1971, in St. Joseph, Michigan to Jessie and Beverly Ann (Moor) Morgan.  He married his wife, Tiffany Crayton at the Church of God in Christ in Benton Harbor Michigan and, we began our blended family. The life we shared together was filled with love, joy, happiness, triumphs, and achievements.

Jessie's memories will be cherished by his wife, Tiffany Morgan along with their children Jessie Morgan III of Granger, Breya Palmer of Texas and Dashawntay Crayton of South Bend. Our God daughter Pearl of Grand Rapids Michigan.  Surviving as well, is his one and only mother, Beverly Morgan of North Carolina and his supporting siblings : Rhonda (Craig) Posey of North Carolina, Shawna Morgan and Marquita Morgan, Kenya Valentine and Antionette Morgan, all of Benton Harbor.  Surviving as well are his caring aunts, and uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jessie's strength is a lesson that he has taught us all. We will miss you!

                               Life Changes............

As life begins to unfold each and every day is uncertain. One of the many blessings we have while living here on earth is to make a difference in someone’s life. Jessie Morgan Jr. has definitely touched each and every one of us in his very own way. As we begin to grow older and wiser each day, we are able to share the knowledge obtained to help others. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1105 E Main St, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.  Following the service, Jessie will be laid to rest in Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor.  Following interment, a repast will be held at Zion event center located at 1380 E. Napier Benton Harbor Michigan.  Cruz Family Funeral Home of Osceola, Indiana has been entrusted with his care.

Jessie was employed with IPC, Alick’s Home Medical Equipment, and Ceva transportation as an independent contractor. Jessie, affectionately known as "BIG J," enjoyed his life overall. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, playing video games, sporting events, and romantic getaways. Big J also, enjoyed a really good meal.  He was a volunteer with the youth basketball program that Jessie III participated in. Big J brought laughter, to each and everybody he encountered. Jessie will be sorely missed. The sudden and unexpectant nature of his passing is quite difficult to understand. However, it is all according to the Lord’s pleasure. Even though we feel the tremendous feeling of sorrow, Big J would want to be remembered with happiness and a smile.
