Jonathan Tyler Nash

Jonathan Tyler Nash, age 25, passed away unexpectedly at his home in South Bend on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Jonathan was born February 18, 1998, in Mishawaka, Indiana.  He attended Adams High School and was currently employed as a welder at the Leer Group in Elkhart.

He is survived by his parents, Clay and Kathie (Mahler) Nash and his brother Andrew Lee Nash, all of Osceola.  Suviving as well is his paternal grandmother, Charlotte Nash of Mishawaka and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  His grandparents, William Nash and R.B. and Anna Mahler preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 4-7pm Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola. Immediately following visitation, Pastor Bob Vale will share a message of comfort for Jonathan’s friends and family.  A livestream of his service will begin at 6:45pm and may be viewed in real time in the window below.  Cremation will follow and Jonathan will be laid to rest privately in Olive Cemetery, Elkhart.

Jonathan enjoyed tinkering around in his garage and loved to work on cars.  He also enjoyed working with electronics and building different machines and computers with his friend Collin. He was very focused on his life but knew how to have fun as well.  His laugh and smile will be remembered by his friends and family forever.
