Kenneth Lee Albaugh

Kenneth Lee Albaugh, age 37 of South Bend, went home to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the evening of October 14, 2020.  Ken was born October 2, 1983 in South Bend to Carl and Sue (Breden) Albaugh.

He is survived by his mother Sue (Bill) Cranmer of South Bend and his children Aleetha and Alexander Albaugh.  Surviving as well are his siblings Carline (Chad) McCann of Granger, Carl (Shannon) Albaugh of South Bend, Krystal (Yair) Ubaldo of Elkhart and April (Robert) Frantz of LaPorte.  Surviving as well is his grandmother Linda Steinhoffer of Elkhart and his nieces and nephews Kayla & Trevor McCann, Nathaniel, Lacey, and Megan Albaugh, Aliyana Ubaldo and David & Emmanuel Frantz.  He was preceded in death by his father Carl and his grandfather Robert Breden. 

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 1:00 pm funeral service on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.  Interment will follow in California Road Cemetery. 

Ken was born with a congenital defect in his heart and his fighting spirit and strong will kept him strong. In his younger years, Ken enjoyed bowling. He was an avid computer gamer and as a child through the Make A Wish Foundation, he met the WWF Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan.

As an adult, he loved to play darts, and over time, he became an excellent pool player and traveled all over playing 9-ball tournaments with his team.  His extensive collection of trophies came from all over, even Las Vegas.   He also attended World Harvest Church in Elkhart where he met many friends.

In his memory, donations may be made to either Riley’s Hospital for Children or the Make a Wish Foundation to fulfill the dreams of another child.
