Kristine Karol (Barber) Nutting

Kristine K. Nutting, age 71 of Mishawaka, passed away at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.  Kristine was born May 9, 1949 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Stanley and Shirley Jean (Russwurm) Barber.  On August 30, 1985, she married William Nutting Sr. in Mishawaka, Indiana. 

Bill survives, along with her children Bob Bradburn and his wife Ann and Karol Hill and her husband Paul, both of Osceola.  Surviving as well are 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Billy Bradburn and her brothers John and Paul Barber.

There will be no formal services held, but the family requests you remember her in your own special way.  Cruz Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.

Kristine was employed for many years as an assembler at Lippert Components in Elkhart.  In her younger years, Kristine enjoyed collecting owl figurines and loved to crochet.  She and Bill also were former members of the American Legion Post 308 in Osceola, where Kristine won a brand-new Harley Davidson motorcycle that she and Bill enjoyed riding in many local charity rides and the ABATE Region 2 MDA runs on Labor Day weekend.
