Mary M. (Woods) Woods

Mary Margaret Woods, age 69 of South Bend, passed away at Memorial Hospital on October 29, 2020.  Mary was born December 1, 1950 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Lawrence Luster and Emily Rosella (West) Woods.  She was employed for many years with the South Bend Chocolate Company during the mid-90’s, NylonCraft and later as a plastics manufacturing specialist with Maverick Molding before her retirement in 2004. 

She is survived by her children Renee Horvath and Frank Moreland, both of South Bend, four grandchildren; Nicole, Anthony, Emily and Sarah as well as her siblings Larry Woods of Arkansas, and Roger Woods of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her siblings William Clay Woods and Juanita Weatherford.

There will be no formal services for Mary. The family asks that you remember her in your own special way.

Mary attended Harvest Church of Christ in Mishawaka and in her spare time, she enjoyed ceramics, knitting and crocheting, and playing the game “Chains” on her phone. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Woods family to help defray final expenses.
