Melinda McDonald Sanders Obituary

Melinda Lou McDonald Sanders, age 47 of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2020.  Melinda was born January 5, 1973 in Demorest, Georgia to the late Bobby Sanders Sr. and Sandra (Hancock) Hill.  

Melinda is survived by her children Christopher McDonald of Elkhart, Brian Sanders of South Bend and Brittany McDonald of Elkhart.  Surviving as well are her grandchildren Blaze, Alexah Skye, and Avery McDonald. Also surviving are her siblings Patricia (Charles) Mitchell and Donna Sanders of Elkhart, and Bobby Sanders of South Bend, as well as her extended family throughout the Kokomo area.

A celebration of Melinda’s life will be held from 11am - 1pm Saturday,  May 23, 2020 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola.  **For the health and safety of our families we ask that during this time, a mask be worn if medically possible, and social distancing guidelines be followed during Melinda's celebration of life services.**

Melinda will be remembered as a hard worker. Early in her career, she enjoyed working with volunteer donors at the plasma center and later enjoyed the company of her co-workers in the factory.  In her spare time, she enjoyed playing “aggravation” with her family, and watching her favorite shows on television.
