Nathan "Scott" Beals

Nathan “Scott” Beals, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mishawaka on Tuesdsay, February 23, 2021.  Scott was born July 22, 1959 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Fred and Betty (Wallace) Beals. 

He is survived by his son Stephen J. Beals of Mishawaka, his brother Doug (Jackie) Beals of Osceola, and his cat and dog “Abby” and “Kid.” He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Steve and Bob Beals. 

There will be no formal services for Scott at this time.  The Beals family asks that you remember him in your own special way.  Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting with the arrangements.

Scott was employed for over 30 years as a truck driver through the Teamsters Union. He spent the most recent part of career working with Montgomery Trucking out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

In his spare time, Scott enjoyed the freedom of the open roads that he found on his Harley Davidson Electraglide.  He also liked spending time watching nature and survival series on television.  Scott will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
