Nyshaun Liljession Finch

Nyshaun Liljession Finch, age 8, transitioned from this life on June 3, 2021.  Nyshaun was Born July 5, 2012 in Elkhart Indiana to the Union of Showntala Gillam and Roscoe Finch. He was a second-grade student at Roosevelt Elementary School in Elkhart. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Roscoe (fiancé Brittany King) Finch, his mother Showntala Gillam and his sisters Shontaveya Gillam, Malasha Shorter and Samantha Finch, Great Grandmother;Frankie Lemons, Grandmothers; Emma Gillam and Samantha Finch; Grandfather; Wayne Lemons of Elkhart, Uncles: Jesse (Erica) Brownlee, of Lil Elm Texas, Devon Brownlee of Atlanta, GA & Percy Lee Lipscomb of Indianapolis, In. Aunts; Pamela Lipscomb of Indianapolis, Diane Lemons & Lula (James) Williams both of Elkhart, along with a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his Great grandfather; Charlie Ed. Lemons, grandfather, Percy Lipscomb; Aunts: Virginia Jackson & Shirley Thomas and his uncle; Charles Lemons Jr.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 1pm funeral service at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola with Reverend Danny Brown officiating the service.

Nyshaun was a vibrant young man and enjoyed his time away from school playing basketball, watching videos on TikTok and spending time playing with his older sisters. Nyshaun also enjoyed bike riding, skateboarding, playing video games, soccer, rapping & listening to rap music. He will be remembered for how he always gave his family a hard time! Rather he was taking things that didn’t belong to him and misplacing it or aggravating his siblings! He will be missed truly by all who knew and loved him.
