Otto Svend Jelinski

Otto Svend Jelinski unexpectedly and tragically left this world on Sunday, July 10, 2022, just five months and sixteen days after he was born. Otto was born January 25, 2022, to his loving parents, Zachariah and Emily (Perry) Jelinski. He was welcomed by his big brother, Obbe Bear Jelinski.

If you had the opportunity to meet him, you would know him as the happiest baby to ever grace the Earth. His smile was infectious, and his little giggles were some of the most precious sounds you could ever hear. He was the best eater and a robust baby who everyone, even strangers, would comment on how chubby and happy he was. He was so loved. Words cannot describe just how loved he was.

He is missed by so, so many people — his mom, dad, and big brother; his maternal grandparents, Dennis and Katherine Perry; his paternal grandparents, Tom and Sonja Jelinski; his great grandparents, Bernard and Violet Jelinski; his uncle Benjamin and aunt Amanda Perry, and cousin Minerva; his uncle Jon and aunt Cassie Jelinski, and cousins Chloe, Kenzie, Jenson, and Micah; his uncle Noah Jelinski and cousins Nolan, Avya, Lee, and Lydia; and countless other friends and extended family.

There is little comfort to be found in the loss of an infant, but the Jelinski family welcomes any and all friends and family to join in a memorial service on Wednesday, July 20, at Cruz Family Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway East, Osceola, from 4-6 p.m. for visitation and a service beginning at 6 p.m.
