Patricia Jane (Wiseman) Brim

Patricia Jane Brim ended her journey here on earth and was ushered into the presence of Jesus on June 17, 2021. She was born the daughter of Marshall and Nora Wiseman on January 22, 1931. Her life was highlighted by many wonderful and exciting experiences. She attended English High School in English, Indiana.

She traveled to 29 countries, was awarded Sunday School teacher of the year by the Northwest Indiana Nazarene Church and the distinguished service award from the Nazarene Church. In her local church she served as Secretary of the board, Sunday School superintendent, Bible Study teacher and youth leader. Pat loved playing tennis and watching basketball and football on television.

Most of all she loved Jesus and her family. She married Walter Robert Brim on May 29, 1947, and these two strong willed souls built a life together. They were married 67 years. Bob and Pat had three children, twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. Bob preceded her in death in 2007.

Pat spent most of her time serving her family and her church family. She was an ever-present prayer warrior and loving advocate for those in her life.

Pat was a Beloved, daughter, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Pat leaves behind her children Cindy Reddy, Bruce Brim and his wife Allyson, John Brim and his wife Rebecca, along with a wonderful legacy of Christ like heritage. Preceding her in death was her grandson Ryan Brim, her son-in-law Michael Reddy Sr., and her daughter-in-law Pattie Jo Brim,

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Sunday, June 20, 2021, at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene, 19688 Kern Road, South Bend, Indiana, 46614.  There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 11:00 am funeral service at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene on Monday, June 21, 2021.  Pastor Scott Hollebrands will officiate the service and Pat will be laid to rest beside her husband Bob in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.

Her generosity spanned decades and she was a positive catalyst for many people. Her life mission was to love Jesus and love people.
