Patricia Jo “Pat” Kron, age 80 of Elkhart, passed away at Eastlake Nursing Home on Friday, December 04, 2020. Pat was born January 24, 1940 in South Bend, Indiana. On August 16, 1958, she married Roger Kron in South Bend. He preceded her in death, passing away in 1977.

She is survived by her children Roger Scott (Margaret) Kron of Granger, Indiana, V. Susan Borque of Elkhart, Indiana, Angela M. (Ernie) Davis of Union, Michigan, and Anthony Kron of White Pigeon, Michigan. Surviving as well are nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, her siblings Clem Lewandowski Jr. of Florida, Rita Lolmaugh of Niles, Michigan and Craig Craft of Mottville, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents Clem Lewandowski Sr. and Pauline Pierpont, and her siblings Michael and Douglas Lewandowski.

There will be no formal services for Pat at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola is assisting with her arrangements.

Pat was employed for many years with Kaiser Aluminum. She enjoyed traveling with her mother and her friends, and Pat was able to see the US while escorting mobile homes across the nation. She also enjoyed crafting, especially sewing, and crocheting macrame quilts and afghans and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved helping raise her granddaughters Britney and Kristen. Her family was the most important thing in her life, and after the death of her husband Roger, her focused shifted to being both a mother & father while still working and raising her children to be the best they could become.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society.
