Robert Leon Packer

Robert Leon Packer, age 52 of Walkerton, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2022.  Rob was born April 24, 1970, in South Bend, Indiana.  He attended John Glenn High School and was employed in the construction industry as a trade worker for over 25 years.

He is survived by his mother Sandra Packer of Walkerton, his daughter Alisha Packer of North Liberty, and his siblings Kathleen (Roger) Packer-Sons of Plymouth and Jim (Shawna) Packer of Walkerton. Surviving as well is his grandson Skylar Cole Frazier, 7 aunts, 1 uncle, and 7 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother William Packer and his grandparents Rube and Evelyn Runyan and Mae Packer.

There will be a celebration of Rob’s life at a later time.  Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola is assisting with his arrangements.

Rob enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved being on the water fishing and boating.  He was also very adventurous and enjoyed driving fast cars, motorcycles, and cliff diving.  He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love for classic rock music and his dogs.

He was an easy spirit who connected easily with young people.
