Ronald "Scott" Rosendaul

Ronald Scott Rondaul, age 59, formerly of Lake Station, Indiana and currently of Osceola, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.  Scott was born April 10, 1961 in Gary, Indiana to Dale and Alma Jean (Brunker) Rosendaul.  On June 2, 2013, he married Mary Weldon in Liberty Chapel Church, Dowagiac, Michigan.

Mary survives, along with his children Christina Diaz of Arizona, April Whittenstrom of Valpariaiso, Brian Rosendaul, and Tiffany Rosendaul, both of Florida, and his stepchildren Marshall Smith Jr. of South Bend, Marcie Smith of South Bend, and Matthew Smith of Osceola.  Surviving are his grandchildren Preston Rosendaul of North Judson and Brayden Bellamy of Valparaiso, as well as his brother Dale Rosendaul Jr. of Portage and 7 step grandchildren.  His parents and 2 siblings, Sandy and Jim, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola, with funeral services to follow at 7pm. 

Scott was employed for many years in the Heating and Air Conditioning repair business.  In his spare time, he enjoyed racing stock cars at local tracks throughout the Midwest.  He was also a volunteer firefighter in the Lake Station, Indiana area for many years. He also attended Liberty Chapel Church in Dowagiac, Michigan.
