Wilma Louise Wolford

Wilma Louise Wolford, age 70 of Elkhart, passed away at Hospice of Elkhart County of Friday, February 12, 2021.  She was born July 24, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Richard and Velma (Boyer) Walker.  On April 12, 1969, she married Earl Eugene Wolford in Elkhart, Indiana. They celebrated 49 years of marriage before Earl preceded her in death on October 28, 2018.

Surviving are her sons Richard Wolford of Elkhart and David (Bethany) Wolford of Osceola.  Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Emily, Zachary, Mary Claire, and Evelyn Wolford.  Wilma was preceded in death by her siblings Patricia Burns and Gerald Walker.

There will be no services for Wilma. The family asks that you remember her in your own special way. Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Osceola has been entrusted with her care.

Wilma spent many years as an in-home tax preparation specialist.  She loved supporting her sons and her grandchildren’s endeavors.  Wilma was also a long-time member of the Zion Missionary Church of Elkhart and supported many Christian Missionaries, especially the ministry of Frank and Beth Huffman.
