Timothy Lee Armstrong

Timothy Lee Armstrong, age 60 of Mishawaka, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.  Tim was born May 12, 1957 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Johnny M. and Scherry D. (Liffick) Armstrong.  He later graduated from Mishawaka High School, class of 1975 where he played baseball and football.  On June 6, 1981, Tim married Jean E. Baughman.  They recently celebrated 36 years of marriage. 

            Jean survives, along with their two children Brandon L. Armstrong of Mishawaka and Amber Armstrong of Howe, Indiana. Also surviving is his granddaughter Charlie K. Armstrong and his brother Johnnie E. (Billie Jo) Armstrong, all of Mishawaka.

            Visitation will be held from 3-5 pm Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Osceola.  There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 12:00 pm funeral service on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Osceola.  Pastor Denver Burns of the Michiana Community Church of God will officiate the services, and interment will be held at a later date.

            Tim was employed for nearly 30 years in the RV industry, working for Holiday Rambler, Monaco Coach, and most recently in administration for Lippert Components in the warranty department before his retirement in August of 2017.  His lifetime of experience in the RV industry allowed him to know his job well, and hone his expertise in many facets of the industry over the years.

            Tim was also a longtime and dedicated member of the Michiana Community Church of God in Granger, and in his spare time, enjoyed watching sports, especially the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Chicago Cubs. Most of all, Tim was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather to his family.
