Helen M. (Zimmerle) Werman

Helen M. Werman, age 97 of Elkhart, passed away Sat. Dec. 30, 2017 at Hubbard Hill Estates.  Helen was born Dec. 18, 1920 in Elkhart, IN to the late Herman and Louise Zimmerle.  On Oct. 27, 1956, she married Vernon Werman.  Vernon preceded her in death, passing away in 1983. 

            Helen is survived as well by 6 nieces and nephews; Patricia (Richard) Perkins, Gene Reihl, Debra (David) Troup, Robert Werman Jr., Lon Zimmerle and Lynn Zimmerle, and her sister in law Betty Zimmerle.  She was preceded in death by her siblings Lloyd and Raymond Zimmerle & her sister Erma Riehl.

            Visitation will be held from 4:30-7 pm Wed. Jan 3, 2018 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Thur., Jan. 4, 2018 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Osceola.  Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. 

            Helen was employed for several years at the CTS Corporation in Elkhart and later left to help Vernon with daily operations on their family farm.
