Richard J. "Rick" Mack

Richard J. “Rick” Mack Jr., age 46, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his home in Mishawaka.  Rick was born May 22, 1971 in Hammond, Indiana.  On June 18, 1996, he married his wife Rebecca in Miami, Oklahoma.

            Becky survives, along with their children Madison (Zachary Wray) Mack of South Bend, and Griffin Mack of Mishawaka.  Also surviving are his parents Mary L. (Vern) Clark of Florida and Richard J. (Lisa Johnson) Mack Sr., of Missouri. Surviving as well are his sisters Jennifer (Emery) Ferry of Tippecanoe, and Samantha Mack of Missouri.

            There will be memorial visitation from 10 am – 12 pm Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Osceola, with a celebration of Rick’s life to follow at 12pm.

            Rick was employed for many years as a truck driver with Franger Gas and Herb’s Towing.  In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley “Penny” and participating in the many motorcycle charity event rides in the Michiana area. 

            Most of all, Rick loved his family.  He loved spending time fishing with his son, taking canoe trips and camping with his wife and children, and could be found many nights shooting pool with his wife Becky.
